Created by JJ Abrams, Alias is a popular American action television show. It was premiered on September 30, 2001. The series ran for five consecutive seasons and the finale hit the TV screens on May 22, 2006. Though the series was initially announced as an action series, the technologies and the plot get it closer to science fiction.

Jennifer Garner portrayed the main character of Alias, Sydney Bristow, a CIA agent. Viewers saw Jennifer concealing her true career from family and friends and in order to do so, she adopts various aliases. Among other important characters of Alias are- Danny, Sydney’s boyfriend; her best friend Francie; her friend Will; Dixon, her SD-6 partner; Marshall, a gadget maker etc. Throughout the five seasons, the storyline took innumerous twists and Sydney was seen dealing with the troubles coming her way everyday.     All seasons of Alias were very much liked by TV viewers and the show helped Jennifer to become a household name. A total of 105 episodes were aired during the run of the show.
