American comedy drama Californication made its debut on August 13, 2007 on the Showtime Network. The series is currently running with the third consecutive season and all the seasons of Californication are very much liked by the TV shows fans around the world.

The central character of the show is Hank Moody, a novelist. He has recently moved to Los Angeles and this move affects his relationships with his loved ones. Among his loved ones are his ex-girlfriend Karen, whom his heart still beats for and his teenage daughter named Becca. In addition to these leading characters, various other guest and recurring characters make appearances at times. The other notable characters are Charlie Runkle, Marcy Runkle, and Mia Cross. Hank is shown dealing with his personal and family problems. His lack of will to say ‘no’ to sex and drugs etc always ruins his relationships.  During its three-season long run, Californication has won innumerous renowned awards such as one Emmy award and one Golden Globe Award. The network has announced fourth season of Californication, which would be aired during 2010.
