Fullmetal Alchemist, a very popular animated series, is derived from Japanese manga of same name. The main characters of the series are Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric, two alchemist brothers.

In the beginning of the show, the two are seen searching for a powerful object named Philosopher’s Stone. During an attempt to bring their mother back to life through alchemy, the two lost their bodies. Ed loses his leg and arm whereas Al lost his body whose soul is stuck to a suit of metal.  Philosopher’s Stone has ability to help them recover their bodies.  Elrics must realize the fact that in order to gain something, the Humankind would have to lose something and that object must of the same value. Viewers see how the two brothers deal with the dilemma and try to get their bodies back. It made its premiere on November 6, 2004 on the American television and the recent episode of the series was aired on August 4, 2009.    Fullmetal Alchemist has secured a sound place in hearts of zillions of fans, especially kids.
