Created by Matt Groening Futurama is an animated sci-fi television series, which is aired on Fox Network. The series set on his journey on March 28, 1999 on Fox Network and ran on the same network till 2003 season. In 2003, the show was switched to Comedy Central and is being aired on the latter network till date. The sixth season of the series on air nowadays.

The storyline is all set in 20th century New York City. The central character of the series is a pizza delivery boy named Philip J. Fry, 25 year old. He works for Panucci's Pizza. One day he’s asked to make a drop at Applied Cryogenics, which was the beginning of a journey, and he is sent into more than a thousand years into the future.    Fry accidentally falls into a capsule and can’t emerge out of it until year 3000. There he meets Leela, one-eyed alien girl working for the New York based cryogenics factory and Bender, a degenerate robot. Professor Farnsworth hires this team of three to work for his intergalactic delivery service. The series follows the trio as they carry on their journey.
