An American medical drama, Grey’s Anatomy, was premiered on March 27, 2005 on the ABC network. The series has successfully completed airing five seasons. The sixth season of Grey’s Anatomy would be premiered on September 24, 2009.

The storyline of the series is set in the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital in Seattle, Washington. It revolves around the ever-changing lives of the five surgical interns namely Meredith Grey, Cristina Yang, Isabelle ‘Izzie’ Stevens, Derek Shepherd and Alex Karev. Grey’s Anatomy goes along with them, as they become residents of the hospital.  The main character of the series is Meredith Grey and it follows her as she deals with her friends and profession and also throws light on her on-off relationship with Derek Shepherd. In addition to it, Grey’s Anatomy shows other doctors’ relationships with their family members and patients etc. The series has received a good response from viewers ever since its conception and it’s one of the most loved series of respective network.
