An American medical drama House, a.k.a. House MD, is created by David Shore and Paul Attanasio. The series was premiered on November 16, 2004 on the Fox Network. House has finished airing the fifth season and the sixth season of House would be premiered on September 21, 2009.

The storyline of House centers on Dr. Gregory House working at the fictional Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey. During the run of the series, we see House clashing with Dr. Lisa Cuddy, hospital administrator and Dean of medicine, at times as most of his hypotheses about diseases and patients’ conditions are derived from controversial insights. Dr. James Wilson is House’s true friend. Other important members of the hospital staff are Dr. Robert Chase, Dr. Allison Cameron and Dr. Eric Foreman. The episodes of the series revolve around the diagnosis of the patients and show how doctors deal with such situations. It has secured a sound fan base throughout the world.
