The popular American weekly drama Legend of the Seeker is all derived from Terry Goodkind’s The Sword of Truth novels. The series made its debut on November 1, 2008 on First-run syndication. The series is currently running with the second season. 

The storyline of the show is set in three provinces namely Westland, the Midlands and D’Hara. Some time ago, a magical boundary was created to prevent magic getting entry into Westland and this boundary separates Westland from Midlands.   The state named D’Hara is being ruled by Darken Rahl and is located on the other side on D’Hara. When Darken Rahl’s army invaded into Midlands, it marks the beginning of Legend of the Seeker TV show.  A confessor named Kahlan Amnell comes into Westland in search for a wizard and the Seeker who has been preached to beat Rahl. After Amnell meets the Wizard and The Seeker, the trio is seen looking for Rahl and his dependants.   A total of twenty-two episodes were aired during first season of Legend of the Seeker. The second season of the show is on air.
