An American Drama cum Sci-Fi television series ‘Lost’ was premiered on September 22, 2004 on the ABC Network. Lost is known for its very unique storyline structure as it begins at a point which could have been the end in case of an ordinary TV show. 

It’s all set in a peculiar tropical island in South Pacific and begins with a plan crash. The survivors, near to 50, must cope with the exotic stifling environment of the island. The leading characters of the series are Dr. Jack Shephard, Kate Ryan, Charlie Pace, James “Sawyer” Ford, Sayid Jarrah and Hugo "Hurley" Reyes etc.  As they go along, they come to face innumerous unknown creators and the secrets of the town such as mysterious smoke monster, polar bears, a strange French woman and ‘The Others’, another group of people residing on the island. With help from flashbacks and flash-forward, Lost shows how those people, the survivors; manage to live on the mysteries island. It has finished airing the fifth season. The sixth season of Lost has been announced and it would bring the series to an end.
