NCIS, an American Drama cum Action television series and a spin off from JAG, made its debut on September 23, 2003 on CBS Network. The series has recently finished airing the sixth season and the seventh season of NCIS would be premiered on September 22, 2009.

The show is centered on a fictional team of special agents working with Naval Criminal Investigative Service Major Case Response Team. All the events are set in Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. Leading the team of agents is Special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs and the other members of his team are Special Agent and Senior Field Agent Anthony DiNozzo, Special Agent Timothy McGee and Mossad Liaison Officer Ziva David. Chief Medical examiner Donald ‘Ducky’ Mallard, Forensic Specialist Abby Sciuto and Assistant Medical Examiner Jimmy Palmer assist the team in their missions from time to time. It’s one of the successful shows of the respective network.
