While talking about the popular animated series of American Network, the name of SpongeBob SquarePants naturally strikes one’s mind. Created by Stephen Hillenburg, this out of the ordinary series made its premiere on May 1, 1999 on Nickelodeon Network. Though Nickelodeon Network serves as the podium of the series, it has also been aired on various networks around the world. It has completed sixth successful seasons and is on air with seventh season nowadays. 

Set in deep blue sea in Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob SquarePants centers on a yellow sponge named SpongeBob SquarePants. His next-door buddy is a starfish named Patrick Star. Tragedy of Patrick’s life is that he doesn’t know anything but he boasts about everything, which often lands him into ridiculous situation.      Before Patrick’s home, there is another home where Squidward resides. He is an octopus who plays pranks and tricks on SpongeBob and his buddy Patrick Star. Then there is a squirrel named Sandy Cheeks.
