Survivor, a popular American TV show, is all derived from reality television game show of same name. The American version of the show is produced by Mark Burnett and hosted by Jeff Probst, news reporter and ex-game show host. Survivor is aired on CBS Network.   

In Survivor, the participants are left in an isolated locale. They are not only supposed to provide themselves with food, water, fire, money and shelter but should also compete in innumerous challenges. Participation in challenges helps the contestants to earn awards and immunity. Each season of Survivor lasts for 39 days and 16-20 contenders play a part. All contenders are left without any modern facility and they must cope with each other in order to make survival. As the time and days go on, the locations and tropical sun test the staying power of all participants. Ones who succeed throughout everyday challenges keep on winning comforts in form of cold beers, pillows, food etc and ones who fail in doing do, continue with the same hard life. Currently, Survivor is running with nineteenth season and the twentieth season of the show has been already announced.
