The animated television version of Trigun is derived from Japanese manga series of same name. Trigun is directed by Satoshi Nishimura and it made its premiere on April 4, 1998. The series comes to an end on September 30, 1998.  

The central character of Trigun is a man, Vash the Stampede. Following him throughout the series are two Bernardelli Insurance Society employees.  Vash’s appearances always causes damages and these two employees follow him everywhere in order to diminish such damages. Vash is more like a threat to humanity. His mankind against deeds as well as disastrous ways has made him the most hated man. Not only this, all this has also earned him a bounty of $$60 billion.  Bounty Hunters’ pursuit for money and Vash’s head always results in destruction. Vash is joined by Nicholas D.
