Created by Silvio Horta, Ugly Betty is a very popular American comedy drama series. It was premiered on September 28, 2006 on ABC Network. The series has completed three successful seasons and is currently running with the fourth one.

The central character of the show is Betty Suarez, a kind hearted but not glorified girl and the storyline is all set in Queens, New York. Though Betty is a courageous and nice girl, she has no sense of business. Her life takes an unforeseen turn as she joins Mode, a fashion Magazine, owned by Bradford Meade. Bradford hires Betty as personal assistant to his son, a womanizer. His sole aim behind doing so was to stop his son sleeping with his attractive assistants time and again. Initially Daniel, Betty’s boss, hates her for not being very sexy and attractive. As time goes by, Betty wins his heart with her sharp mind and skills and they develop strong relationship. Throughout the run of Ugly Betty, viewers see Daniel and Betty struggling with innumerous factors such as colleagues, competition etc. All the episodes of the series are very much liked by the people all around the world.
