At the time of 19th century in China, there are two girls named Lily and Snow Flower of seven year old. These two girls are bound with each other for eternity. As the girls live alone and lead an isolated life without their family. They use to communicate with each other in a secret language between the folds of white silk fan. But the change comes in their life when in the present day of Shanghai the girls start struggling for their childhood friendship as they feel intimacy of it. At this moment they need to understand the basic story of ancestral connection which hides in the folds of the antique white silk fan.
