Ichigo comes to know that Rukia has entered in his class. Later, he finds out that Rukia has lost all her powers. As he possesses all her powers so he needs to serve as her substitute until Rukia can get her powers back. Initially, Ichigo is not willing to work as a Soul Reaper.   Soon, he makes up his mind and takes on the responsibilities of a Soul Reaper.
