After escaping from the mental hospital, Edwin Poole takes a murder case. The case is of a man who tried to murder a policeman. Lori must assist him but as he seems to be incapable of handling the case, Lori needs to get over her standards in order to protect her client. A client of the firm is arrested thieving a scarf and Alan takes her case to defend her. His relationship with Sally may be in danger as he asks her to do something against her principles.     It may help him win the case but destroy their relationship.
