The Beyblade Regional Qualifying Tournament is in its final rounds. One of the three best battles is underway and Tyson is fighting against Ray. Ray easily wins over Tyson in the first round, as his Tiger Claw Attack is more powerful than Tyson’s Beyblade. This failure makes Tyson’s bluster to fade away and he is also worried about the second battle. If he can’t fix his Beyblade at time, he would have to lose the second battle as well and he will be disqualified from the tournament. Tyson is stricken with panic. At the same time, Kenny appears with a box of spare parts. Tyson is back for the battle. In the second round, Tyson takes help of Storm Attack.  Before the third and the final battle, Ray accepts defeat. Ultimately, Tyson is against Kai in the finals.
