In this episode, Rukia buys a temporary soul at the store of Urahara.  She does so in order to assist Ichigo so that he can use it whenever she is not around him. Rukia is unaware of the fact that the soul purchased by her is not a temporary soul. It’s an advanced soul, which has special powers. The newly purchased soul gets into Ichigo’s body. It has plans to make some fun and later denies getting out of his body.
