A counter against Renji by Ichigo overcame him. Renji is about to fall but in the mean time Rukia’s brother Byakuya Kuchiki appears. He starts to fight against Ichigo and defeats him.  Rukia goes back to Soul Society. Ichigo is left there for dying and his powers are also divested from him.  Kisuke Urahara saves Ichigo. On the other hand, Rukia is given death penalty for her deeds in the human world. Kisuke Urahara agrees to help Ichigo to save Rukia as well and Ichigo agrees to be trained by him in order to regain his powers.
