Laura, the friend of Michael’s mother, is a retiree.  A group of con artists deprives her of her life savings and she turns to Michael for help.  Michael looks into the case and his involvement results in dissension among the ranks.  Ultimately, Michael becomes successful to get the information about the stolen accounts and gets the money.  As Michael has smartly helped Laura, he is given a number by Madeline, which was left, to her by the FBI Agents.  As the episode came to an end, Michael is congratulated by a strange voice over the telephone.
