As she comes back to Washington DC, FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth calls her to assist in a case. The case is to uncover the secret of a set of bones found hidden in a lake. She succeeds to identify the truth of the bones and the murderer is imprisoned. The matter gets worse when it turns out to be a politically louse business. FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth makes his boss to let Bones be her partner as she has expertise in her field.
