Aang and his friends are running short of money. Therefore, Sokka turns to a fisherman for help. He agrees to pay them if they help him on a fishing trip. The fisherman makes out Aang as the Avatar who has turned back on the world. Aang feels guilty and runs away. Katara finds him and Aang tells Katara about Monk Gyatso. He was the only man who treated Aang like a man not like an Avatar and the monks at the Southern Air Temple wanted to separate him from him. Therefore, he ran away and sealed himself in the iceberg. His followers are questioning Zuko and Iroh narrates the story how he is banished from the Fire Nation.
