The first season of Beyblade ran from July 6, 2002 to August 24, 2003 for a total of fifty-one episodes. The series opener was named The Blade Raider and the season finale was entitled Final Showdown. The season happened to be a great success and helped the characters of the show to become popular throughout the world. The storyline of the first season moved around several Beybalde teams as they participated in the competitions held throughout the world.
