Brothers & Sisters is an American Television series, which made its debut on September 24, 2006.    The episode, which marked the beginning of the season, was named Patriarchy.   The season ended its journey with the season finale entitled Matriarchy on May 20, 2007. The first season of the show had twenty-three episodes.  The first season showed what kind of difficulties were faced by the members of the Walker family after the death of William Walker. Also, it came to light that William Walker had a daughter, named Rebecca, with Holly Harper.  The main storyline of the season was consisted of several sub plots and the season happened to be a very entertaining one.
